The Dry Sponge is a specialized cleaning tool for surfaces where water can't be used. Made of virgin rubber, it's used like a big eraser to remover everyday buildup from flat paint, acoustic ceilings, wallpaper, paneling and just about everything. Does not work on greasy dirt (like in a kitchen); does not remove fly specks or oily finger prints. On porous surfaces like fireplace brick, it's a miracle tool! Use before painting to remove dirt buildiup (often eliminates a 2nd coat). Great around wood burning stovess.
