If the discoloration is in the top coat on your floor, you may be able to remove it by stripping your floor with Mop Stripper. Once the yellowing is gone, we would recommend applying a finish like our Top Gloss to the floor to make it easier to clean in the future
You don't need to re-wax for 6-9 months, and even then you’ll only want to re-coat the traffic areas (the spots where the finish is wearing). Every 3-4 years you will need to strip the floor and start over.
A. Use a neutral cleaner like our Wood Wash with a microfiber mop like the Mini Pro Wet/Dry mop. Use the mop dry to remove dust, then dampen the pad with water, spray your floor with the Wood Wash and mop it up.
If you have a finish on it you’ll want to strip the floor down with a product like our Mop Stripper. After you’ve removed the finish, mop with a neutral cleaner like our Clean & Brite, then apply a couple of coats of a good floor finish like Top Gloss. It will provide a high gloss shine and will protect the floor from damage and staining.
Unsealed concrete will continually wear down as it's walked on creating a never-ending supply of gritty dust that gets tracked in. It's also very porous, so it absorbs stains instantly as well as being rough and hard to clean.
Use Mop Stripper and strip the floor to remove the dirt and grime. Once the floor is completely clean, apply a couple of coats of Top Gloss. This will provide protection and will fill in light scratches to make the surface easier to clean and maintain in the future.
Ceramic tile is easy to take care of. Make sure your grout is sealed as this will make it much easier to keep clean. Sweep regularly to remove dust, crumbs and other particles, and mop with a neutral cleaner like our Clean & Brite and a microfiber mop like our Mini Pro Absorbent Mop Complete.
